CrossThink welcomes the following formats of articles:
A position paper (1000-2000 words without references) adopts a position on a popular debate and substantiates all claims with evidence and data.
A survey (3000-4000 words without references) is a comprehensive overview of existing literature in a certain area of knowledge. Surveys help systemise knowledge is a rapidly-evolving domain of research and is a valuable resource for researchers willing to engage in a new area of ongoing work.
Submissions must be made via EasyChair (link to be shared closer to deadline). All submissions must be made in the prescribed ACM format attached below:

The Editorial Process for submissions mimics the standards set up by the ACM guidelines. The review process is double-blind, involving student reviewers. Each submission will be reviewed by 2-3 student reviewers, assigned by the associate editor (AE) based on fields of experience. The submissions are selected based on the papers’ relevance to the edition’s theme and potential to stimulate discussions. All recommendations of accepted/ rejected submissions will be confirmed by AE and the Faculty Advisory Board. All acceptances are conditional on the understanding that:
All accepted papers will be archived in a public subdomain under cs.ashoka.edu.in unless the authors declare any objection to the same. Subject to approval, all accepted authors will be invited to a Student Symposium organised by the Department of CS, Ashoka University.
